CHANS is a swedish non profit, politically and religiously uncommitted charity organisation. We work only within the legal system - in Sweden and other countries.

Our aim is to inform the public about the sometimes shocking and appalling conditions animals have to endure. By doing so we believe we can create a greater understanding for animals and their needs. Thereby put an end to all cruelty, abuse and neglect.

By publishing facts and pictures we are able to raise funds and financially help to support shelters that care for stray animals - by giving them food, attending to their medical needs and perhaps most importantly spaying and neutering. Many animals are rehomed by staff at the shelters, by CHANS, or by other organisations.
